About the Greenview

The Greenview Hotel, designed by Henry Hohouser, Is an elegant example of 1939s Classic Art Deco with recessed corners, framed windows, horizontal banding, decorative wrought iron railings and patterned terrazzo floors. The Greenview Hotel building was designed in 1938 and built in 1939. The original features of the building including floors, murals, and ironwork have been restored to their original splendor. The Hotel is located in the heart of the Art Deco District and just one block from the beach. In 2010 the 45 rooms were fully renovated by an Argentinian designer.
In keeping with its classic, boutique style, rooms are immaculately styled with the elegance of another era wooden floors, coir rugs, large showers and simple, antiquated desks mark the furnishings. The only exception is the cable television in the corner. Amenities such as in-room air conditioning, free morning newspapers, and complimentary breakfasts and newspaper keep guests feeling comfortable and at home.

This 1939 Hohauser hotel was completely renovated in 1994 by Parisian designer Chanan Minassian. It is close to all the South Beach night life but yet still secluded enough to give you a great night's sleep in the oasis-style comfort of this warm and wonderful hotel.
